✧ Final Project Worksheet ✧
Introduction/What is Being Sold?
My website will be selling a collection of bookmarks I made based off the four seasons. The title of the project is seasons change. My goal is for the site to be visually appealing and cohesive, in a way that makes the bookmarks stand out as well as tell its own story. Perhaps different webpages can match with the different seasons, with one leading to the other. Overall, I want the website to not only sell my bookmarks as a desirable product, but give an authentic representation of my artistic voice so that others may be prompted to explore my other work too.
Discovery and Research
Since the bookmark designs are inspired by the four seasons – winter, spring, summer, and autumn - I want to tell a visual narrative that takes the viewer through each environment. Since each design includes a character, I could use this character to introduce the product (bookmark), as well as walk through each page.
Here are the bookmarks I made for a past project that will be advertised on the site:

Target Audience
The target audience for this website would be anyone who loves to read, or fellow artists looking for inspiration. Bookmarks are pretty versatile, and could be used by anyone to mark their place. And who doesn't love a pretty design as well!
Inspiration and Concepts
Imagery- Winter (girl reading with floating imagery associated of the seasons such as snow and gingerbread man), Fall (girl having fallen asleep while reading, open book, dreams of a nice fall day), Spring (girl with book opening explosion of flowers), Summer (girl floating in water with book on face, floaties in flowing water).
Here are some websites I was inspired by as well! The animation of both makes them stand out as very unique, especially the House of Dreamers website which takes you to another world after you 'unlock' the page. These fun, innovative approaches to designing a website are what I will aim to achieve to the most extent possible.
I like their vertical navigation bar and might utilize something similar for my final website.
Here is my moodboard as well!
