Develop Your Idea
The idea for this site is to create a New York City guide for students and young adults to navigate the city. Giving tips, recommendations, directions… For all the best places to socialize, eat, go out, walk around… And take part in all that New York has to offer as well as discounts for students.
Discovery and Research
There are many cites that have one or two page articles on the subject as well as many YouTube videos out there that offer students useful tips and tricks to enjoy their time in NYC. However, living here is the best insider trick to knowing all the ins and outs, best places to go, and how to make connections. Many of the sites offer a blog style that dives into different areas such as: going out, apartment hunting, restaurants… However, to make the cite more interactive the idea is to make a map, where one can visually see everything in relation to where they are (or their campus).
Target Audience
The target audience would of course be college students in NYC, or those taking a weekend trip into the city. Essentially, for any young adult moving to NYC, to find those within their age range and similar likes and dislikes on a budget (or not).
