Describe: It is a montage assignment from “Time: Frame” class. In this assignment, students had to choose a theme, subjects, and elements that they found interesting, and using four to six images to tell a story. The color theme, subjects, and narrative should stay consistent. I chose the little girl as the main character for referring myself, and the collage series is a record of what she experienced while traveling. I duplicated the same elements to stay the consistency of my storytelling; by doing so, the viewers won’t get confused, and they can stay in track of how the storyline goes. What I didn’t achieve is that I wanted to choose different elements but with the same theme. However, it turned out that by changing the elements, which was hard to keep conformity style.

Information: We all were children once who were innocent and dreamed big, but as we grow up, we lost our innocence while experiencing life. The poem book has three main characters–a little girl, an octopus and a flamingo. They show a collage series about losing childhood as the little girl starts her journey to the imaginary world. Eventually, she got betrayed by her friend, flamingo (a facade of the imagination world) and was killed by the octopus. (The octopus is the ruler of the imagination world, and it represents poisonous people that we met or difficulties we faced in our daily life.) The style of the images used dark art.
