It is weird that some people think designed objects is unnecessary. However, for me, the design is a must. It is one of the reasons that I came to Parsons. If I am not a designer in the future, I don’t know what the purpose for me to live in this world is. For me, the design is a must, which I cannot live without it. It is like oxygen that keeps me alive.
The company's brand is a way to show the materials' quality assurance. Some people choose to buy luxury brand items is because the brand has good design products, and they use high-quality materials. A visually appealing and functional design object is always a plus.
A good designer always thinks of users' experience. Before designers launch a new product, they made several prototypes and chose the best option for the new product design. And designers decision is influenced by economy condition, people's need, values, and the background of that era.
I think the design itself has many levels, and it all depends on people’s education, knowledge, idea, problem-solving technique, plus creativity aspect.
