Strategies to make websites more energy efficient and quicker
-Using no images
-Changing the image size
-Changing the image resolution
-Using dithering to change the images to black and white, with fewer greys -Using solar energy for the website
-Coding the website in a way that the images in it won’t be automatically downloaded, but rather only downloaded by scrolling down, and after a specific amount of activity.
-Using more default styling
-Not using logos (maybe instead making logos with default symbols and shapes?)
-Having a self-hosted server: No advertising and cookies, which reduces energy use. No access for Google Analytics

-Doing data analysis and choosing times where the wbsite is offline (maybe shutting it off a few hours a day when there’s the least amount of navigation activity)
-Reducing the amount of CSS
-Having a website with automatic low brightness, or that inmmediately encourages you to lower your screen’s brightness
-Having a website where the only way of downloading the image is by clicking on it (or if it works better, clicking text that says ‘see image’)
