Arlo Goldman is a graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY, originally from the Detroit, MI suburbs. Currently studying for his BFA at Parsons.
The landscape of Detroit is one where past and present intersect. Neigbhorhoods depleted, yet still in existence. Signs depict the past better than anything else. Long after a business and the lives surrounding it have gone, a sign remains. I examined this fact through the creation of a photobook. Created for Parsons Core Typography Studio.
