A Handmade Web

"I evoke the term handmade web to refer to web pages coded by hand rather than by software web pages made and maintained by individuals rather than by businesses or corporations; web pages which are provisional, temporary, or one-of-a-kind; web pages which challenge conventions of reading, writing, design, ownership, privacy, security, or identity."

Recently, Microsoft has developed Sketch2Code a program that uses AI to convert hand-written drawings to working HTML prototype. As it was mentioned on the reading that, "the expectations and behaviors of the next billion people to come online will have a profound effects on how the internet evolves," the 21st century has come to the state where physical coding will no longer be required, which could also mean the end to the handmade web, if according to the definition above. However, while one of the definition for "handmade web" is a hand coded website, it also says a unique website that is provisional.
Then, what if a website is run by an individual and does everything stated above, except being physically written would they still be considered to be handmade? If the program developed by a business or corporation becomes more advanced to code both the css and html based on a drawing, would they still be a handmade web?

“… but when people got to the end they stopped reading because that’s the way books work. In the web version, the last page linked to the first the story circled round and round.”

Being on the web feels like being trapped inside an endless maze. While there is an end to books, the web keeps going on forever (under the assumption that the Internet never disconnects). So I would spend find myself being on chrome for 30 minutes, then an hour, then 3 hours, finding myself unable to detach from it. But while I know that I must stop eventually, as a book has its ending, I can help myself because the web constantly comes up with something new. The web is a place where the past, present, and future co-exist. It is somewhat a magical place where you could peek into the lives of others through their own handmade web and once you get the taste of it, you can never stop.
