You grab the bat and get as close to the zombie as you can. Both hands grip tightely around the bat as you swing at the zombie's head.
The headless body falls to the ground as the remains of the head splatters everywhere.
You hear behind you a soft growl. You quickly turn to find the body that was once your mother's is now spotty and rotting. Her eyes are yellow and look as though they have been suffering from a serious infection. She gets up and moves towards you and your dad.
