Discovery and Research

I was very inspired by Estudio Plume’s website. I really like how their website is home to projects of different uses and dimensions, and how they use color and space to create a minimal and intuitive arrangement.

I also looked at a few different websites to get a better understanding of how I can work on combining some of Estudio Plume’s characteristics with some of the other elements I was interested in using. Another website that I looked at was MindBodyGreen. I really enjoy how the website incorporates color into their design in an all-encompassing way. For every sub-heading, there’s a different color scheme.

I also looked at Darling Magazine’s website to look at how they implement form and structure into their design. Like Estudio Plume, Darling Magazine has a more strict gridded structure and is very intuitive.

Finally, I headed over to artist and author Adam J. Kurt’z website. The style of Kurtz’ website is very colorful and full of life. I really like how Adam also incorporates a more structured layout to his website, and also uses videos, GIFs, and other interactive elements.
