About Me

Juha is an illustrator who focuses on digital art and design including 2D/3D animations, conceptual illustration, character design, graphic design and 3D modeling. She uses a variety of vibrant colors in her work to demonstrate strong contrast within the composition. Most of her works are inspired by creative and imaginative fantasy worlds and their creatures, such as monsters and imaginative animals inspired by nature from her past experience living in Bali, which is one of the places where the beauty of nature best shines through. Because of her interest in and her love for mysterious yet beautiful fantasy backgrounds, a lot of her narrative works take place in the ocean where everything moves in a flow. She finds the flow and light refraction underwater scenic view with vivid tropical colors, creating digital artworks inspired by the ocean. Her most recent 3D work by Blender, “Hidden Paradise” depicts a gloomy ocean scene with various tropical colors and round minimal rendering of features within the ocean. It also would have a dystopian narrative unlike the playful aspects of the work, where humans lost their land habitat due to environmental problems and now have to live underwater. In terms of graphic design, she uses dynamic contrast between colors for the core narrative or the subject to have a personality of their own, best shown in the work “Album cover for Karina”.
