KINGSTON UNIVERSITY

Kingston doesn't have as many famous alumni or course options as some of the more high-profile U.K. fashion schools, but it places an emphasis on connections with industry organizations and fashion companies. If you aspire to a senior role at a big company, it's a good place to start. Its graduates have held senior and director-level positions at Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Givenchy, Lacoste, Massimo Dutti, Max Mara, Missoni and Paul Smith, as well as mass brands like Topshop, Abercrombie & Fitch, Brooks Brothers, ASOS and H&M. It's also part of a large university covering a wide range of fields, as opposed to an insular art or trade school.
