River Wildmen Marquardt is a visual artist and current student at the New School in New York City. His work ranges from physical paintings and sculptures, to photography, video and digital renderings. River's creative process is informed by his passion for music, fashion, athletics, nature, environmental justice and the sheer variety of human life unfolding around him in New York City. In the Fall of 2018, River was accepted into the New Schools BFA/BA pathway at Parsons School of Design and Eugene Lang College. Taking advantage of the dual degree program, he will receive a BFA in Communication Design and a BA in Culture and Media. Combining his education and experiences, he plans on entering the advertising industry. In the future, River intends to become a creative director where he can positively impact others and fulfill his passion to produce meaningful work
