Reading 3

This concept of creating a table or program that creates the art or solutions for you is very interesting I have not thought of working in this style until this reading. This thought process of giving yourself a set of design options in which you have to choose from is very cool. Some people can look at it as set of restictions but I see it more as a frame for my work that I have to opporate in. For someone who really does not know what they want to create or where to start this can a really useful tool to get the ball rolling. The Author goes on to talk about how the way a designer can trully be free to express his/her thoughts though typography only when he/she understands the true meaning behined the task at hand and the meaning behined their choices. Later the text breaksdown how letter are "elemntary particles" of the written language. The author decontrsucting how letter are part of workds and thus how words are part of sentences and how this all creates language is interesting. Looking at this entire process from this inside out approch is very thought provoking.
