Alma Rae Mornell-Matheson is a New York City-based artist specializing in photography and graphic design. Currently pursuing a BFA in Photography with a minor in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design, Alma’s work explores the intersections of lived experience and the subconscious. Originally from Los Angeles, her multidisciplinary background in music and video informs her current practice, which investigates art as a tool for reconnecting with the past. Her work has been exhibited at the Bruce Lurie Gallery and the Pacific Palisades 2023 Grand Reopening.
