Who is Caralyn?

Hi everyone! I'm originally from Southern California but for the last 7 years now I've been living and working in New York - although always be a Californian at heart. Besides photography I love theatre, traveling, amusement parks, regular parks, movies, food, and reading a good book (even when I know I should be doing something responsible).

I've always had a passion for the creative arts. I studied photography in high school and early on in my college career. My first job was at a portrait studio as a photographer. Every day was a celebration of a different event or milestone for the people who came in. Helping to create a lasting memory for them to cherish is what drew me to photography. For the time I get to spend with people during a shoot I have the privilege to be welcomed in their world, to share in their joy, laughs, and life events for which they want to remember always. It's a responsibility I don't take lightly and I look forward to each new experience.
