Oyku used brass sheet metal as well as bronze sheet metal. She dipped the bronze sheet metal into a solution of potassium nitrate and sodium hydroxide to change the color to black. The pieces that holds the blue, green, etc. colored beads are brass wires which compliments the underlaying brass color of the bracelet.
