The Intent of Acne Studios website is to offer a online shopping place for customers worldwide. Since there are so many of international customers, an online shop/ website will be convenient for the followers. Customers may also check the newest collection on the homepage of the website.

Content

Acne Studio website’s content included Woman, Man, Bla Konst, :|, Sale, and Stores. Bla Konst is Acne Studios’ new denim line, and “:|” is a featured collection by Acne. “Stores” offers customer a detail of locations of Acne Studios stores in worldwide. Customers are also able to make a appointment for personal shopping service.

Voice

Unlike most of other shopping websites such as Ssense, Balenciaga, etc. that normally have all items listed out, Acne is doing in a more artificial way. In recent seasons Acne is playing around 90s and 80s record and moving style on their website, which let viewers online shop and get inspired at the same time.

Tone

The tone of the website is depending on the current season’s collection style. It is video and image based and less texts involved. All items are shown with a model fitted on and in a full look. Customers are also able to find other items that paired up in the look. Other colors of the items are also shown when the mouse is place on the image.

Brand

The name Acne stand for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions. The nam is also commonly known for a skin issue that provide unfashionable associations. Creative director Jonny Johansson said he “liked the idea of appropriating a difficult word and making it cool.” Acne Studios was founded in 1997 by Jonny Johansson. The brand focuses on men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fashion, shoes, denim, and accessories including handbags, small leather goods, and eyewear.
