Recently the winters have been sticking around a lot longer and they have been also starting way later. However when it does kick in, it can get extremely cold. More than ever, climate change is a big issue and should not be ignored. As temperatures within the atmosphere gets warmer due to high levels of greenhouse gasses, the north and south icecaps are melting which results in colder weather as the melted ice flows through the oceans. This is a piece was done as my final assignment for Color Theory class where we had to pick a pattern to repeat and a color scheme to match. The overall theme I picked were the 4 seasons and this is the winter piece. Perhaps one day our winters will be so cold that one’s tears drops can freeze to get people to understand that cold temperature or abnormal weather patterns aren’t a fluke. Although by then it might be too late, therefore it’s better to act now.
