COMMUNITY BOARD

Our​ ​Community​ ​Board,​ ​a​ ​digital​ ​experience​ ​that​ ​utilizes​ ​the​ ​LinkNYC​ ​system,​ ​exists​ ​as a​ ​neighborhood​ ​based​ ​application​
​that​ ​allows​ ​communities​ ​to​ ​have​ ​their​ ​own​ ​platform​ ​to post​ ​community​ ​events,​ ​pictures,​ ​blog​ ​posts.​ ​Our​ ​purpose​ ​is​ ​to​ ​
bring​ ​people​ ​together, share​ ​experiences,​ ​and​ ​create​ ​new​ ​ones.​ ​Know​ ​your​ ​neighbors,​ ​know​ ​your​ ​community.

With our app, users will experience what it means to be a part of a community, with no specific task in mind.
They will be in the know and be encouraged to participate; they will be able to have a voice and have an active role in community
discussions and events. It is hard to get to know all of your neighbors, especially in New York City when everyone is on the move,
but our Community Boards will focus on creating new relationships and encouraging people to be a part of something bigger.

Each of our Community Boards are based on the location of the LinkNYC kiosks. Community boards are open to be viewed
by the public, but those who wish to post and share information are required to sign up with us, either on our mobile or desktop application.
