Objectives

"I am passionate about painting social and environmental issues and aspire to serve as a visual storyteller and catalyst for change. My objective is to shed light on pressing societal and environmental challenges, sparking dialogue, empathy, and awareness. The majority of my work communicates the complex interplay between humanity and the natural world, addressing issues such as climate change, conservation, social justice, and human rights. By translating these issues into visual narratives that evoke emotions and provoke thought, I aim to ultimately inspire individuals and communities to take action and make a positive impact on the world."

While humans infested the ecosystem and exploited its resources, greed also infested humans and consumed their kindness as part of the never-ending cycle of parasitism.

  • BIOGRAPHY

Daisy was born in China and spent most of her childhood in Kunming, a city surrounded by rich varieties of flora, often referred to as the 'Spring City.' Daisy's interest in natural elements developed from an early age, greatly encouraged by the environment she grew up in. Later, at the age of 14, she pursued her studies overseas in Adelaide, South Australia. Adelaide, enveloped by breathtaking natural landscapes that include the Adelaide Hills, pristine beaches, and accessible conservation parks, offers artists an abundance of inspiration. Following her time in Adelaide, Daisy furthered her education at Parsons in New York, a profoundly stimulating environment that greatly enriched her artistic expressions.

  • ACHIEVEMENTS

Daisy participated in the prestigious 40th Wreath Exhibition at New York's central art hub. Back in her hometown of Kunming, China, she curated a personal exhibition that conveys her aspirations and contemplations about society and the natural world, particularly in the context of younger generations. Remarkably, three of her pieces have found a permanent residence within the local Art and History Museum.
