Jordan is currently a second year Fine arts major and Communication Design Minor student at the Parsons School of Design. Her artistic practice is mainly rooted in oil painting, a medium she often turns to due to its expressive qualities. Other than oils, she's worked in a variety of mediums including acrylics, gouaches, graphite, wood, ceramics, etc. and is still continuing to expand her artistic knowledge through experimentation. She's interested in exploring themes of memory and its impact on emotion through her work and is still actively exploring her style. She is especially interested in the cross between representation and abstraction and how that can effectively communicate conceptually in her work.
