Designing my own Website
- Develop Your Idea:
My goal for this website is to sell a lighting product I'm working on in my studio class. I want to be able to represent it well in a web format, and make it look ready-to-sell like a professional website.
- Discovery and Research:
This website has a clean interface that aims to focus on the product details and visual appeal in order to attract customers. It is easy to navigate and quite intuitive. The cleanness represents the product, wallets, well.
This website interface aims to sell skincare, which is why it has a clean, subdued look that allows for easy navigation but also is representative of the brand visuals and mission. It uses enticing imagery and colors to pull you in.
- Inspiration and concepts:
The main references I looked at are product ads off of Pinterest. I really want my website to represent my product's identity with a clean, sleek brand to suit my lighting project.
- Target Audience:
The target audience for this website would be buys/consumers who would want/need my light. It could also include potential collaborators or companies who may want to see my work commercialized.
- Introductory Framing and Concluding Call to Action
I want my website to represent a brand identity for my product. Because it is a sleek, modern-looking object with a slightly rustic feel, I want the website to use similar colors and design elements that work well with the light.
