About
Originally born in Los Angeles, California (2004) Lunetta Green begun developing her artistic practice in early high school. Conceptualizing visual narratives after school and directing photoshoots with her best friend. Often being the subject of her own work stimulated a path of self exploration through the photographic medium. It started as scouting locations along the west side of LA; behind alley ways, Inside Abandoned homes, and deserted plots of land intended for previous construction. These quest manifested into the sets used to portray windows to her imaginative worlds.
Her passion for fantasy is directly related to her obsession with fashion and style. Particularly the works inside her collection of Vogue Magazines, I-D, Numero Mag, Pop Mag, and CR Fashion Books.
Today, Lunetta Green is a New York–based interdisciplinary artist whose practice centers on fashion photography and creative direction. Currently studying Integrated Design at Parsons School of Design, she leverages her academic training—along with a minor in Fashion Communication—to deepen and refine her artistic approach. Her work is defined by its narrative focus, using photography to capture the characters she creates in order to further explore her identity. Through Fashion styling, Makeup Design, and found environments, Lunetta’s work act as windows into how she manipulates her self and her surroundings in order to bring fantasies to life.
