Website Analysis

Inspiration

I'm using the personal website of Loren, a molecular biologist who has the coolest website that exists. I'm a huge fan of how graphic it is, it uses the web as a medium to collage text, photo, audio, and video in a very unique and interesting way. It has a unique and consistent visual style where no detail is spared -- the images, the typography, the layout -- every design decision is meaningful and intentional. You can visit their site at ribo.zone

Intent

The intent of my website is to serve as my "digital consciousness" of sorts. Everything I make, think, and do will be logged and recorded online for anyone to see. I want to use it as a place where I can share my thought processes, my creative output, and my experiences for others to see and engage with. In a way, it should be like I'm "uploading" my brain onto a server so I can live forever online.

Voice

I want my site to be very casual and conversational, reminicent of the early days of blogging. It should feel geeky, creative, and passionate, a reflection of who I am and how I act.
