This is not the future.
This is now.

A response to the Climate Emergency Teach-In.

What is happening

Climate change is no longer distant. It exists in heatwaves, rising oceans, and unstable seasons.

According to scientific data, Earth’s temperature has risen rapidly due to human activity, especially fossil fuel use.

What feels slow is actually fast. What feels invisible is already shaping our lives.

Causes

Fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial systems drive climate change.

Carbon dioxide traps heat in the atmosphere, disrupting balance.

Forest loss removes natural carbon absorption, accelerating the crisis.

Impact

Rising temperatures, melting ice, and extreme weather events are already affecting millions of people.

Even a small increase in temperature leads to irreversible damage.

The crisis is environmental, but also social and economic.

Climate Justice

Climate change does not affect everyone equally.

Communities that contribute the least are often impacted the most.

This is not just an environmental issue. It is a question of fairness.

What I will do

I will rethink consumption, reduce waste, and stay aware.

I will participate in conversations and support collective action.

This is not something to ignore. It is something to respond to.
