My name is Lia Barning (they/she) and I’m an animation director, story artist and illustrator finishing up my BFA from Parsons School of Design (2022). I’m a native New Yorker who explores topics of empathy and vulnerability through a light hearted lens. In life, I am consistently inspired by observation, personal experience and humor to tell stories.
