I want to create a website to showcase my fashion design portfolio, using a strong visual theme to set the tone and highlight my personal style. I want users to get a clear sense of my aesthetic as soon as they enter the site and feel interested in exploring further.
Discovery and Research
Essentially, I would want to create a website that both is unique and is more illustrative but also organized and simple to navigate around. I would lean towards a more simplistic layout with minimal elements just so it can be easily translated to the viewer.
Dadiogaosai:I like Dadiogaosai’s homepage, where an irregular red artwork fills half of the screen, paired with a clean background and a gradient red glow at the bottom edge. The visuals are bold yet cohesive, quickly grabbing the attention of the target audience and enticing them to explore the website further.
Canapés: The layout is very clean, and all the elements revolve around the orange theme, which is extremely eye-catching. I really appreciate how it doesn't just use the orange fruit itself but also incorporates the moving marquee, the branding sticker on the orange, the peel, and even the juice, adding depth to the website. The moment I enter the site, I immediately become curious about the creator behind it. I hope to achieve a similar effect, creating a site that isn’t overly simplistic, yet has a fully realized theme that captivates visitors.
