Hi I'm Kirsten and I am an Illustration major with a Communication Design minor at Parsons the New School for Design.

Despite having grown up in a seemingly "white washed" background with little inheritance of my origin country's culture, I find myself oddly attracted to east asian art and the subtly and finess it brings with it. Many of my past and current favorite artist illustrate not to convey deeper psychological issues but rather to generate beauty. As a result, a large portion of my philosophy regarding art is surrounded around the idea of bringing beauty to the everyday lives of everyday people in sleek and subtle ways.
