Origami Bags
Spring 2019
Stemming from a love of denim and heavy cottons, create chic, simple fabric handbags with minimal reinforcement.
Also inspired by origami, use folds to structure one square or rectangular piece of fabric into a collapsible, 4-sided bag producing very minimal fabric waste. Take advantage of the created space in the folds to become accessible pockets for the user.
Made with 24oz 100% cotton canvas that has been synthetically indigo dyed. Each bag has a dyed canvas covered cardboard bottom insert.
