Community Boards 9, 10 and 11 are dedicated to West, Central and East Harlem respectively. Attending Community Board meetings are a great way to get activated politically and generate change in your neighborhood. It’s also a great place to meet community members just like you.
“Get involved in local, Harlem politics.” As simple as that, our call to action allows Harlemites to not be daunted by a certain level of involvement. Involvement can look like talking to a friend or coworker about a local election, or it can look like knocking on doors on Saturday mornings. Whatever involvement looks like to you—we need that and it matters.
