HomeLabs began in a tiny garage workshop where two friends spent their weekends building furniture just for the joy of it. They loved the craft—the weight of real materials, the satisfaction of a perfect joint—but hated how quickly trends made good furniture feel outdated. One day, after sketching yet another “timeless” chair, they asked a simple question:
That idea became the first HomeLabs prototype: a sturdy, beautifully built frame paired with surfaces anyone could swap, style, and reinvent. What started as a small DIY experiment soon grew into a full design studio driven by a belief that furniture should evolve with the people who use it.
