About Me

Interior Design Student at Parsons School of Design

I’ve always felt my definition of art has been rather simple. I equate art with unrestrained
imagination and freedom. Where one sees lines, an artist sees the ability to bend and
reinterpret it, redefining art with every stroke. Design on the other hand, provides functionality,
not to cage art, but rather to anchor it in structural possibilities. Within these disciplines, is where
I find my sacred spot, an uninhibited space, where I express my deepest intentions. And it is my
intention, to play with these lines, simple and complex, bending and reforming them to create a
living and breathing space through the application of the concepts of interior design. Prior to
attending Parsons, I completed the IB Diploma Program with involvement in subjects of Visual
Arts and Design. This higher-level of education has allowed me to explore different mediums of
art, developing my sketching, idea creation and my breadth of skills.
