Brenda Ruth

Brenda grew up with a love of theatre an everything that came along with it: costumes, the art of make believe, and most especially the art of makeup! For years she dabbled in makeup practicing on friends and siblings to improve her talent. When she got to an age for employment, she worked her way up the cosmetic and beauty makeup brands learning from artists of all kinds. Beauty is where she quickly rose through the ranks but not where her true passion lied. After years learning all she could from beauty makeup artists in on-the-job type training, she wanted to improve her skills even more and branch out to the special effects world of makeup which would take her back to her theatrical roots. Brenda was able to attend Cinema MakeUp School based in Los Angeles and while there became a standout student in their curriculum. She was accepted in their elite Leonard Engelman Fellowship program where she excelled again. Now as a graduate from Cinema Makeup she has the skills and drive to pursue the types of projects she always wanted. She's most excited to explore and design all the facets of her (and your) imagination. If you can think it, she can make it up! Let her create with you.
