TikTok Shop

During last summer, I was a bit bored and decided to try something different – so I turned my attention to the trending TikTok Shop.
Unlike the typical creators who show their face when filming, I believe that going viral isn't just about high quality, but also about quantity. I chose to focus on discounted versions of popular products. Even though these discounted versions are marketed as lower-priced compared to the popular ones, they're essentially the same product since they're from Chinese manufacturers. And because they're unpopular links, the commissions are higher – around 25% to 30%.
I mixed and edited clips from viral videos and had my own set of editing methods. When I was fully locked in, I could edit 40-50 videos in 8 hours. Later, as the workflow got smoother, I ended up producing around 5-6 videos per day cause I travel more. One account achieved 1.4 million views a month.
I got three accounts generated approximately $30K GMV and $7K in commissions a month. That process of building something from scratch – like piecing together a puzzle – was incredibly fascinating!
