About Solace
More than
a lamp.
Solace was born from a simple frustration: the blue-tinged overhead lights in modern homes work against our bodies, not with them. We set out to build something different — a light that respects the circadian rhythm, wrapped in materials that honor the craft of woodworking.
Every Solace lamp is hand-turned from solid American walnut in our small studio. The ribbed glass diffuser is cast from borosilicate and precisely fitted by hand. There are no screws, no glue — just precision joinery and the warmth of natural materials.

We turn every piece ourselves on a manual lathe. Production is intentionally limited to 200 lamps per month so quality never suffers for volume.
Science-backed Light
Our four-mode system is grounded in peer-reviewed circadian biology research. The light you use at 10 PM genuinely matters for sleep quality.
Lifetime Design
Bulbs are user-replaceable. Modules are upgradeable. We offer a lifetime wood refinishing service so your Solace never becomes waste.
Built to last
a lifetime.
The body is machined from a single solid blank of kiln-dried walnut, finished with a hand-rubbed oil that deepens the grain over years of use. The diffuser panels are individually calibrated for consistent luminous output.
Solace is cordless — recharged via a discreet USB-C base — and runs for up to 12 hours on a single charge at medium brightness.
