Rocket Backpack Arrow

AIR HIGH DIFFICULTY LEGEND LEAGUE CLAN WAR

This strategy uses Giant Arrow and Rocket Backpack with Earthquake Spells to create strong early value, then follows up with Dragon Riders to clean through the base. For compact bases, the main goal is to maximize the value of Giant Arrow and Rocket Backpack. For spread-out bases, the priority is to plan the path for the main army, using the arrow based on where the Dragon Riders need to go. Make sure both heroes still have follow-up value after using their abilities.

Attack Plan

Step by step

1

Early Value Setup

Look for a safe Flame Flinger spot to get free buildings before the main opener. If there is no good angle, switch to Siege Barracks and use it to support the Archer Queen after the Giant Arrow opener. Then use Rocket Backpack, Giant Arrow, and Earthquake Spells to remove buildings lined up in the same path. (Pay attention to the order and timing of Giant Arrow, Rocket Backpack, and Earthquake Spells to prevent Builder's Huts from repairing the buildings back up.)

2

Build the Main Path

Use Inferno Dragons to clear buildings that could pull the main army away from the center. If the Archer Queen and Dragon Duke do not end on the same side after the opener, use the Archer Queen with Siege Barracks to clear one side, while the Dragon Duke and Revive Spell help clear the opposite corner. Do not treat these heroes as one-time ability value only. Make sure they still create funneling value for the main army after their abilities are used. Once the path is clean, send in all Dragon Riders with the Grand Warden in air mode and the Minion Prince.

3

Main Air Push

When the army enters a heavy-damage area, use Eternal Tome and Rage Spells to protect the push and help the Dragon Riders break through the core quickly.

4

Late Support & Control

Use the Lava Hound from the side whenever extra tanking is needed. Use Overgrowth Spells to lock down defenses that the army cannot deal with right away, especially heavy-damage areas, then let the main army and heroes clear the rest before collapsing back onto them. Place Totem Spells whenever the army is under heavy fire to help absorb and split incoming damage. Use Skeleton Spells early against Revenge Towers and Monoliths to help distract and absorb damage. Save the Revive Spell to bring back the Dragon Duke if he gets taken down.

Best Against
  • Bases where key defenses are placed in the same line, allowing Giant Arrow, Rocket Backpack, and Earthquake Spells to remove them during the opening.
  • If the outside defenses do not include long-range threats, you can use the Flame Flinger near exposed heavy defenses or Air Defenses to get free damage before starting the Giant Arrow + Rocket Backpack opener.
  • Layouts where the early value can create a clean path for the Dragon Riders to move through the base.
  • This army works well against many layouts if the base is not specifically built to counter it. The Giant Arrow + Rocket Backpack opener is strong against compact bases, while Dragon Riders perform well against more spread-out layouts.
Common Mistakes
  • Pay attention to the order and timing of Giant Arrow, Rocket Backpack, and Earthquake Spells, or the buildings may get repaired before they go down.
  • If side buildings are not cleared, the Dragon Riders may drift away from the planned route.
  • Totem Spells should be placed when the army is entering heavy fire, not after the main pack has already taken too much damage.
