IMAGINE MANIFESTO POSTER

Typography poster project
This manifesto is accredited to John Lennon, who sang these profound words as a desire for utopia and peace.
Adobe Indesign & Adobe Illustrator
My take on Lennon’s words is that there is no longer time to achieve a world without evil; the clock shows his words dispersing as pieces of the clock break apart. The color scheme is meant to be ironic, showing vibrant rainbow colors because the diversity of the world has caused it to collapse rather than persevere. The background is pitch black, which makes the neon colors stand out.
Here are the full lyrics to the manifesto: Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us, only sky, Imagine all the people, Livin' for today, Ah, Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion, too, Imagine all the people, Livin' life in peace, You, You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will be as one, Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man, Imagine all the people, Sharing all the world, You, You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will live as one. This manifesto is about peace and still lives on as a powerful song with a strong message.
THE NEW SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

Typography poster project
The New School Part-Time faculty and students went on strike for 2 months in hopes for better legislature at the university.
Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
I created a newsletter that illustrates the the dedicated activists. I also took inspiraation from their chant of disruption and personified that by taking over the school mascot with provoking words. And the irony on the words reflected on the university windows make them even more antagonizing. The strike will now be helping participants of the strike earn a pay grade in the duration of this act of solidarity. If the school refuses to pay part-time faculty members during the strike period, due to not working in classrooms, then the strike will take matters into their own hands and show professors their worth. Many students, although not asked to, have also continued to finalize projects by choice. It was implied that there be no work assigned, no contact between new school email addresses, and pausing existing work. But with many students continuing to partake in projects, (this is a choice), it just shows how dedicated students are to making their professors proud. They are using what they were taught in the classrooms by their very dedicated teachers. The students DO NOT take their professors or their education for granted.
DECIEVED BY 2020
Journalism poster PSA project
A poster depicts how the quarintine affected students expected to graduate in 2020 amidst a pandemic. I created this piece as a public service announcement for my job at I+Generation Youth.
Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
We see a faceless personification of a student looking through a reflection shaped like the number 2 and angled into the number 0. Reflected on the other side is a graduate with a diploma, cap and gown. Closest to us is reality; a figure wearing a hazmat suit, gloves and mask suffering from toilet paper shortage.
Here is my personal narrative that inspired me: I’d officially turned 18. Then I replied to a late message a friend had texted me “happy birthday you’re 18!” My reply was “thanks but I won’t feel 18 until we’re out of this covid 19 crisis.” It may be a selfish thing to say, but hey, senior class, does it feel fair to you? Does it feel fair to wonder if we’ll even have a high school graduation? Does it seem like your wish of staying home during school time has been granted? Has it been a blessing or a curse to not have to worry about prom? Does it scare you that all your school friends have turned into internet friends sooner than you expected? Dear class of march 2020, I thank you guys for making this limited senior year fun while it lasted. And as all wise ones have said: “stay safe”.
FLIPPING TABLEBAG PRODUCT AD

This advertisement coincides with the FLIPPING TABLEBAG product design work.
Fusion 360, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
The letterforms are interacting with the product to show it’s scale, usage, and versatility. The word flipping is flipped to imply what the product is advertising. And the table is literally used as a table while the bag is upright and balanced on the word bag.
About the Flipping Tablebag: This product transforms into a 30 inch-long extended table and folds in on itself into a 12 inch-wide carry-on bag. The interior contains 2 insulation bags that come in layers. They are attached with velcro and can be detached and made flat when emptied. This makes it easier to flip the bag over when it’s fully extended. The straps of the bag are faux leather from recycled old purses. The faces of the bag are layered acrylic pieces laser cut into rectangles. The hinges are 3D printed PLA plastic held together by 18 gauge wire.
