In this project we are striving through ourselves and you. We are trying to understand the assorted relationships that we all have with our mothers.Your mother carries you for 9 months, or your mothers chose you, or maybe there is a total distance of her in your life. No matter the form your relationship has taken, this person has given you life in some way.
This thought prompted us to ask, are mothers unappreciated? What do we owe our mothers? Do we owe them anything because of this (many times) unchosen relationship? How can you ever repay someone who has in one sense given you your whole being. No matter where your relationship with your mother stands, there’s can be a lot that can be unsaid.
Please join us in exploring this multiplicity of which this relationship is. Fill the form out by writing a letter to your mom. You can share things you would like to say to your mom but don’t always feel like you can, what ever that may be.
Though totally anonymous, we will sift through these and gather a collection of conversations to mothers.
