Honoring Their Vitality

Pitbulls thrive best in active, high-engagement households. They require structural boundaries, positive reinforcement training methods, and robust daily physical and cognitive outlets to properly handle their innate energy levels. As with many intelligent and active breeds, they do best with routine and structure, and can be wonderful companions for the right person.

Pitbulls tend to develop a strong loyalty to their owners, and they do well in obedience training once their owners have earned their trust. Due to their highly affectionate and people-oriented nature, they do poorly when socially isolated from their human pack. Emotional presence and soft companionship are just as critical to their baseline health as diet and shelter.
