I collaborated on a project with two other students to create a brand identity for any company of our choosing. We chose to create a gender neutral skin and haircare brand that restrained form using gender specific colors and typefaces.
The construction of the logo uses a typeface for the 'N' and the 'U' and a different one for the 'E.' The geometric 'E' allows for a circular cutout of the background letters. The height of the 'E' corresponds to the height of the negative space with the 'N' and the 'U.' The color palette we chose includes soft colors that have no assigned gender.
The bottle design was derived from the shape of the 'N' and 'U.' This simple shape allowed for a sleek bottle that tapers slightly in the center. The letters of the logo are engraved into the bottle to give this packaging some elegance, since the colors are very playful.
The advertisements appeal to a young adult demographic, which would be the primary target for our company's success.
